Annie’s Garden offers a free, no obligation, first consultation. During this visit to your garden your requirements for the space will be listened to and established to discuss which service would best suit your needs.

After the visit you will receive an email, confirming and outlining all the details discussed in the visit, the next stages of the process and a cost for the required work. A client brief questionnaire will be attached; this will run through materials and necessary details, including likes and dislikes.

Site Survey

The second visit of the garden will be to conduct a site survey on the garden.

The site survey includes collecting accurate recordings of all measurements and any permanent features. Important aspects are checked, including the soil PH level, type of soil and any drainage issues. Lastly photographs of the area will be taken and some quick sketches completed to help visualise ideas.

Concept Plans and Mood Board:

Using all the collected information from the site survey, 1-3 concept sketches will be produced, depending on your requirements. These concept sketches will be rough hand drawn sketches showing proposed layout plans for the clients to select from.

An A3 mood board will be produced to help visualise the proposed plans.

Master Plan and 3D Visual:

Once the proposed concept plan has been decided the final garden master plan will be drawn up. This will be presented at A3 size and will be to scale, ready for a contractor to work from. Depending on the your needs, at least one 3D visual will be included with the master plan.

Planting Plan:

The next stage of the process will be to discuss designing a planting plan for the new design. The planting plan will illustrate the exact positions for all plants, which will be carefully picked based on your requirements and garden conditions.

Annie’s Garden also offers planting plans for already designed gardens or re-designing of existing borders. To find out more, please visit the Planting plan section of my website.

The Build:

The final stage of the design process is seeing your garden come to life. Whilst my services don’t involve physically building the design, I do have some local companies that I can recommend and have worked with previously. Some clients prefer to find a contractor independently, while others take on the building themselves. What ever you choose, the master plan and planting plan will provide you with all the information needed.

After Care:

To help you to maintain your garden, Annie’s Garden offer a personalised plant guide for your garden, detailing how to feed them and maintain them all year round to get the best from then.

For local clients, Annie’s Garden offer follow up visits in person to discuss how the garden is maturing and offer one off and seasonal visits to help you maintain your garden, so that you can enjoy it all year round.

Design package fees starting from £500.00+

I also offer plant sourcing at a wholesale price from a trusted plant nursery, collection and planting services.
