The aim of the planting plan is to clearly pinpoint the position of each plant on the plan, their eventual size, each plant species and the quantity needed for the design.

All planting plans are created to scale, based on accurate measurements of the garden or chosen border.

The aim of the planting plan is to clearly pinpoint the position of each plant on the plan, their eventual size, each plant species and the quantity needed for the design.

These plans are thoroughly researched and personal; to ensure, with the right care, that the plants chosen will thrive in your garden’s soil type and sun light aspect. All planting plans will be to scale and ready for a landscaper or gardener to work from.

The Process

The process of this service begins with a visit to the garden to discuss your requirements and to carry out soil checks and the aspect of the garden. During this visit, a planting questionnaire will be completed to help determine the your likes, dislikes and planting style.

After the visit, an email will be sent covering all that had been discussed in the meeting and confirming all the key information, ready for your approval.

The next stage of the process will be to return for a second visit. During this visit, photographs of the existing borders will be taken and all relevant measurements will be collected.

The Process

Using all the information collected, an A3 hand drawn, scaled, planting plan will be produced, clearly labelled with the proposed plant species and quantities. The final planting plan will be accompanied with an A3 mood board and at least one perspective drawing to help you visualise the plan.

An option for a document detailing pruning times and feeding times can be included, if required. Please refer to the Plant and Garden Guide

The cost of this service starts at £350.00+
